A scenographic centre in which to learn about and take a journey over the Aubrac plateau, its landscapes, its people, its traditions and flavours. An invitation to explore every aspect of the aubrac plateau, including its gourmet secrets. The centre is not really a museum, nor a show - it aims to use sound and light to conjure up an image of the Aubrac through the four seasons using large screens, audio terminals and video screens. A place of freedom, this unique place takes you on a voyage through strong images of the Aubrac, from the Transhumance (cattle taken to and from summer mountain grazing) to the fabrication of knives, including the pilgrimage of Saint Jacques and the gentian liqueur.
